Micro silica is a by-product of producing Ferro silicon. One of the most beneficial uses for micro silica is in special concrete application due to its chemical and physical properties. When added to concrete, it improves the compressive and tensile strength, improves wear resistance to sulphate and chloride attack, minimizes Alkali Silica Reaction (ASR), protects against corrosion of reinforcement etc.
Magnesium Ferro Silicon is an alloy of Ferro Silicon and Magnesium. The precise combination of Magnesium, Calcium and Rare Earth improves the mechanical properties of cast iron by ensuring the formation of graphite in the spheroidal or compacted form.
